Reports to Sales & Distribution Director
Overall Purpose of the Job
To develop and to achieve company’s objectives with regards to the Image portfolio of brands, and specific Retail Key Accounts regarding market shares, sales and execution.
Develop a strategy for each Image brand for approval by the S&D Director and Marketing Director, following consultations and agreement with Brands and District Managers
Propose Key Accounts strategy. Develop and negotiate a customised joint business plan with the customers.
Set up and agree brand and channel activity planning in relevant key account outlets
Develop sales plans for Image Brands, including detailed strategies for channel marketing & execution, volume growth, channel segmentation, consumer conversion targets and activations.
Develop close relationships / advocacy with all leading Image Outlets, ensuring full support for the Image Brand portfolio.
Oversee sales activity in trade specifically related to Image brands and outlets, in close collaboration with District Managers.
Develop Key Account Trade terms and Service Level Agreements, approved and signed off by Key Account customers.
Ensure that account strategy is effectively implemented at District level
Elaborate, communicate and ensure efficient coordination between sales forecast and company supply chain.
Identify business opportunities / innovations at key account level and propose action plan.
Work closely with Brands and District Managers to develop implementation strategies and action plans for new product launches in the Image category.
Communicate key account financial and non-financial objectives to relevant District Managers
Ensure relevant flow of information (including competitive activities) relating to Image Brands and key Accounts is monitored and captured
Monitor key account performance compared with agreed criteria, including coordinated trade audits designed to track specific image criteria.
Coordinate channel and brand activities in relevant account outlets.
Perform adequate customer satisfaction surveys and propose corrective action plan if necessary
Develop and improve customer relationship
Handle customer complaints and ensure problem solving in a timely manner
Monitor and Report adequately on key operational performance indicators, share learning.
Report adequately on competitor activities
Establish, monitor and control relevant budgets
