Asamoah Gyan Supports Castro To Rock Tigo "December To Remember" Show In Takoradi

The year 2012 ended on a very high note for residents in the oil city of Ghana as, Tigo Ghana took over its shores with first ever 'December to Remember' concert. The smile fever gripped the beautiful people of Takoradi with the arrival of this enviable concert. People came from all corners of the capital city of the Western Region to share in the smile package that Tigo had for them on that memorable night.

By 5:00 pm on the said day, the principal streets of Takoradi had turned blue with the people anxiously waiting for show to commence. Sound check had been done and the ambience was looking promising for a day to be forever remembered.

The event started at exactly 8:00pm with a crowd of over 3,000 people. The stars stunned historic music event featured some of the top Ghanaian music artistes such as 4X4, Buk Bak, Stone Bouy, Castro supported by Asamoah Gyan. Others included TH4 Kwages and Westside Legacy.

Although, the artistes took turns to delight the music hungry crowd, it was not until the Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan appeared on stage with oil city's favourite boy Castro da Destroyer in performance that got the crowd overflowing in elation and ecstasy. The duo performed their hit song "African Girls" to delight their fans.

Climaxing the event was when the versatile gem Asamoah Gyan who is also the captain of the Ghana Black Stars jumped into his usual Azonto spree to take a section of the fans through a well-choreographed Azonto dance.

Linda Narh, the brand communications Manager expressed her gratitude to the people of Takoradi for coming out in their numbers to make the show a delightful one. She further encouraged them to stick with the brand that empowers them and puts smiles on their faces. The oil city has had their part of the smile package, a souvenir which can only be given by your premiere telecommunication company, Tigo.
