Senior Marketing Communications Manager - Nigeria
A global advertising company is looking for an exceptionally creative and strategic thinker as its Senior Marketing Communications Manager to lead the strategic direction, development and implementation of creative driven marketing initiatives and their implementation by focusing on creative ways to engage its consumers through effective creative work. Provide thought leadership and develop strategies, architectures, systems, processes and tools to step-change creative product. Contribute input into the Franchise marketing plans and its implementation by developing the creative content roadmap as part of the Annual Business plans. Ensure that Project Reports & Dashboards are delivered on time for all key markets with comprehensive narratives, learning and implications. Develop agency briefs and brief the agency. Coordinate the finance process from Cost Estimate, to issuing PO’s to making the final payment. Lead the development of the connections strategy and content that is fully integrated across Owned/Earned/Shared/Paid channels to deliver brand objectives. Manage the agency relationship and interactions with a number of internal stakeholders both internal and external from briefing to delivery of the final creative product. Provide strong project management expertise in coordinating, shaping and drive end to end delivery of strategic, media and creative campaigns.
Candidate must have at least seven (7) years working experience in a senior role with an advertising agency as the person will have to jump straight with no opportunity to be trained. A relevant University Degree is preferred. Be able to manage demanding international client and team effectively. Be analytical in analyzing consumer results both qualitative and quantitative, help write competitor reviews and analyse competitive activity by being highly confident in analysis of competitors. Possess experience of channel thinking and establish good judgement on creative briefs/strategy and move these ideas forward. Ideal candidate should be a very strong strategic thinker with an understanding of communication and creative development that is expressed authoritatively.
