Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our properties. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, attractive, and well-functioning environment for our residents or tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the property, including buildings, grounds, and common areas, to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with standards.
Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and structural components. Address tenant or resident maintenance requests promptly.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems to minimize breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring the property meets safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing. Keep track of warranties and manuals.
Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties to address urgent maintenance issues, such as leaks, power outages, or security concerns, outside regular working hours.
Tenant or Resident Interaction: Interact with tenants or residents in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
Supplies and Inventory: Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory. Requisition and restock items as needed.
Groundskeeping: Perform landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal tasks as necessary to maintain the property's curb appeal and safety.
Collaboration: Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and contractors to schedule and oversee larger maintenance projects, renovations, or repairs.
