Qualifications
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Must have at least three (3) years of working experience in the same or similar role.
Possess chemical and machine knowledge.
Should be self-driven, customer focused, team player, passion to achieve results under minimum supervision.
Must be able to speak French fluently.
Must possess great interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Able to demonstrate ability to work across different cultures and functions.
Should have working knowledge in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Description
Our multinational client who provides specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries, including consumers, industrial, institutional, food and beverage, and pool and spa water markets requires an experienced Technical Customer Service Representative to join their team in Cameroon. Reporting to the Regional Export Manager, you will primarily be responsible for driving sales and dealing with customers to maintain and grow existing customers and acquire new ones to increase revenue and market share growth of the company.
Responsibilities.
- Install, conduct planned routine maintenance, and repair dosing and dosing control equipment servicing as per equipment requirements.
- Provide technical training on dosing control equipment to customer staff members to ensure they are able to operate it efficiently and effectively.
- Train customers on product dilutions and dispensing in all application areas.
- Ensure chemicals are dispensed to achieve superior results as per MSDS & PIS whiles working closely with customer’s staff members.
- Keep records of all dosing and dosing control equipment within assigned accounts which includes service reports.
- Keep records of all Planned Maintenance Schedules and respond to customer breakdowns within the agreed time.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the local market, competitive position and activities and report on competition activities.
- Respond to and resolve customer dosing and performance emergencies as per SLA.
- Work closely with distributors to build capacity to ensure superior delivery of products and services to customers through staff training, products and D&D (FOL) forecasting.
