Herbalife Nutrition Ghana has expressed its commitment to forge closer ties with Ghanaians through regular engagement with the media.
The objective is to help promote the wellbeing of the people.
The Country Director, Mr Clarence Amenyah, made this known during a series of meetings with a number of media houses in Accra.
The leadership of Herbalife visited the Multimedia Group, Western Publications (Publishers of Daily Guide Newspaper), Graphic Communications Group Limited, YFM and Happy FM and other media houses.
Mr Amenyah noted that it was essential that as a nutrition and wellness brand, Herbalife struck a mutually beneficial relationship with media houses which shared in the vision of the organisation - “to see a healthy and productive nation.”
“Herbalife Nutrition is interested in entering into partnerships with the Ghanaian media to send out our message of attaining wellness and to support their various outdoor and health-driven initiatives.
As an organisation, we recognise that more and more people are becoming victims of lifestyle diseases and this is why Herbalife is here to help individuals and families overcome the difficulties of modern-day living.
As much as we acknowledge the power of the media to transmit information, we believe the media themselves have to be in a state of wellness to carry out their noble profession. Herbalife Nutrition is open to supporting the media to perform at their optimum level,” the Country Director noted.
