MTN Ghana (+1.64%) pushed the benchmark index up by 11.75 points (+1.64%) to close at 1,866.06 with a -17.33% year-to-date return while the market capitalization was up 0.23% to settle at GH¢53.58 billion.
The GSE Financial Index recorded no gains or losses, closing at 1,678.22 with a year-to-date return of -16.91% while the SAS Manufacturing Index remained unchanged at 1,789.37 with a -48.60% year-to-date return for twelve straight sessions.
A total of 13,208,305 shares valued at GH¢8,188,198 changed hands from 5,191,533 shares valued at GH¢46,468,749 in the previous session. MTN Ghana dominated trades by volume and value, accounting for 99.70% of the total volume traded and 99.71% of the total value traded.
