ALTHOUGH he has been quiet on the music scene for a while, Hiplife artiste Luther says he is the best male vocalist in Ghana at the moment.

“The others are trying but they know deep within their hearts that I am the best male vocalist in Ghana."

"Apart from winning Best Male Vocalist in 2016 and 2017 at the Bass Awards the other artistes in Ghana know they don’t come close when you talk about the male artiste with with the finest voice,” he told Showbiz at the recent launch of this year's Homowo Festival at the Accra Tourist Information Centre.

Asked if the likes of KiDi, Kuami Eugene, King Promise or Akwaboah are not better than him, Luther said they don’t come close to him adding that if a contest was held today, he would win hands down.

“I am not blowing my own horn but the truth has to be told, I am best at what I do and I don’t see any competitor in Ghana at the moment. Maybe when I am not around, but so far as I'm alive no one comes close,” he said.

Asked what he has been up to, Luther who is known for songs like  Dormi Tamor Son, Ooossshhhhh, Agboro, Double T and We No Dey Fear said he was taking care of family.

“I took a break to cater for my family but I am back full time. I have a lot of singles I will be dropping this year and I want Ghanaians to watch out for that,” he said.

Luther is among the artistes performing at the Homowo Festival scheduled to take place next month and he says he is going all out to make the event a memorable one.

“It's been long since I jumped on any event and I am asking Ghanaians to come see me and my other Ga artistes rock the event,” he added.
