Highlife band Kwan Pa set the tone for an exciting start to the This is Ghana Exhibition with a captivating live performance at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.
The group thrilled audiences with an energetic set that blended indigenous rhythms, contemporary sounds, and popular highlife renditions. Their unique fusion of traditional instruments with modern melodies kept patrons on their feet and immersed in Ghana’s rich musical heritage.
Organisers hailed the performance as one of the standout highlights of Day One, describing it as a powerful display of Ghana’s cultural identity through music.
Many patrons echoed this sentiment, expressing admiration for the band’s artistry and stagecraft. “Kwan Pa truly represents Ghanaian music at its best. Their ability to mix tradition with modern flair made the evening unforgettable,” one attendee said.
Beyond the music, the This is Ghana Exhibition created a vibrant space for businesses, innovators, and creatives to showcase products and talents that reflect the nation’s ingenuity and culture. From handcrafted goods to groundbreaking services, the event celebrated homegrown excellence while encouraging Ghanaians to “buy local” and support the country’s economic growth.
The exhibition runs daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with free entry for all patrons.
