In a video message shared to Facebook and Instagram, country legend Dolly Parton revealed that the superstar couple donated a very generous $2 million to her Imagination Library, the childhood literacy program that mails free books to children from birth to age five.
"Taylor and Travis, it's Dolly, and I was just told that you two are making a donation of two million dollars to my Imagination Library," Dolly Parton said with pure delight in her eyes. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude."
Parton, never one to miss a memorable punchline, couldn't resist a humorous nod to the couple's upcoming nuptials and their potential future family. "Hey, when you have your firstborn, can I have it? Because that is going to be one special baby!" she quipped.
She went on to warmly include the mission of her Dollywood Foundation, saying it's "to dream more, care more, learn more, and be more", and she promised the couple's gift would carry that vision forward "in bigger ways now with your money."

Founded by Dolly Parton in 1995 in honor of her father, who never learned to read, the Imagination Library mails a free, age-appropriate book every month to enrolled children from birth until they start school, at no cost to families.
What began in her home county in East Tennessee has grown into a global program operated through her Dollywood Foundation, gifting millions of books each month across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. As Parton noted in her video, the couple's $2 million gift will help the program expand its reach to even more children.
The Imagination Library Instagram page re-posted Dolly's video and also shared, "We're smiling extra big today. They thanked Swift and Kelce "from the bottom of our hearts"! They went on to say, "It means so much to all of us at Dolly's Foundation to know that you share Dolly's dream of inspiring a love of reading in children. Because of your kindness, more children will experience the excitement of receiving a new book each month, more families will share bedtime stories together, and more little imaginations will be inspired to dream boldly. On behalf of our team, partners, and millions of children and families across the United States to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Republic of Ireland, thank you."
The donation is part of a stunning week of generosity from Swift and Kelce. As confirmed by Taylor Swift's long-time friend and publicist Tree Paine, the couple donated $26 million to a slew of charities across the nation spanning at least 20 organizations, including food banks, children's hospitals, and national groups like Feeding America and the ASPCA. This appears to be a part of their much-publicized celebrations, and what a generous way to start a new era!
Dolly Parton's affection for the pair is nothing new. In a 2024 interview with E! News, Parton gushed, "I'm crazy about Taylor," praising the singer's career and calling the couple's romance a "little love affair" that people love to see.
