Oscar and Grammy-winning composer A R Rahman would embark on a global tour starting June to present live concerts.
The live concert programme, "A.R. Rahman Jai Ho concert: The Journey Home World Tour", would start on June 11 in New York and travel to over 20 major regions and cities worldwide, sources close to Rahman said here.
The show would be produced by Deepak Gattani of Rapport Productions and renowned choreographer-director Amy Tinkham.
Spectacular stages, changing sets, large images and an attractive cast of musicians and dancers from across the globe would add colour to the shows, sources said.
Each show in the programme would be a theatrical experience with perfect mix of dance and acrobatics with music.
During this period, Rahman would have live concerts in the US, Canada, Netherlands, France, Norway and UK, covering the cities of New York, Atlantic City, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Amsterdam, Paris, Oslo, Manchester and London.
