Two persons standing trial at the Kade District Court for breaking into a seamstress shop, have changed their plea to not guilty.
Daniel Agyei and Gideon Nyarko have accordingly been granted GHc 1000 with a surety each and are to re-appear on July 23.
The facts of the case were that, both the complainant and the accused persons live at Osenase where she operates a shop.
At about 2000 hours on May 3, the complainant visited her shop and detected that it had been broken into and 18 pieces of cloths and other dressing materials stolen.
A pair of sandals belonging to Agyei was found at the scene of the crime.
A complaint was made to the police and a witness in the case informed the police that he saw the two accused persons carrying something in a bag during the night.
The accused persons were arrested but in their caution statement to the police, they denied the offence.
