Apostle Kissi Bardoom, head of the Mamprobi Area of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, at the beginning of their Easter Convention encouraged Christians to be courageous and resilient in handling challenges.
He said Jesus Christ, their saviour, had the power to redeem them from all impediments and his abundant grace would provide for their needs.
He said the death and resurrection of Jesus must inspire them to overcome
sickness and evil of any kind.
However, he warned that they would face judgement when they remain in sin and advised them to take advantage of the period to renew their
faith in God and Jesus Christ.
More than 500 members including pastors, elders, deacons and deaconesses are attending the service.
Believers would receive both water and Holy Spirit baptism with evangelical efforts to convert non-believers to Christianity.
Apostle Bardoom led them in prayers for the church and the nation for peace and prosperity to prevail.
