Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, General Overseer of Action Chapel International (ACI), has advised religious leaders to show greater commitment to their vocation.
He said this at a special service in honour of the Rev Samuel Boadi-Darkwah, out-going Pastor of the Community Nine branch of ACI in Tema.
He appealed to religious leaders to lead upright and morally good lives that would help transform society.
Rev Boadi-Darkwah and his wife, Rev Mrs Emelia Boadi-Darkwah who had pastored the Church at Community Nine for about 11 years, are going on voluntary retirement to establish a mission-oriented
organization to give charity to the poor and needy.
Most Reb Duncan-Williams commended them for their meritorious service to the Church, and appealed to them to be worthy ambassadors
of the Church at all times.
Bishop James Saah, Senior Bishop of the Church, advised the congregation to guard against early assessment of the in-coming Pastor, the Rev Johnny Djangbah.
Rev Boadi-Darkwah on behalf of his family, thanked the ACI Board and the entire congregation for their co-operation and support over the years.
