Two unions of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church, have organised a Congress on the theme: “Touch a heart to touch my world,” for their women congregation at the Valley View University Techiman Campus, in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The Congress, which is organised every two years to teach Adventist women new vocational skills spanned April 11-16.
As part of the six days programme, the women were trained on how to produce beads, detergents and natural fruit drink.
About 400 women graduated after successfully going through the Leadership Certification Programme under the Andrew University in the US.
The West African Division of the SDA Women Ministries Director, Mrs Omobonike Adeola Sessou congratulated the graduants for their effort and encouraged them to use the skills they have acquired to enhance their livelihood.
The Congress was attended by 2000 women from southern and northern sector of the SDA Church Union in Ghana.
