Tribaverse, a grassroots environmental initiative, has announced the third edition of the Climate Ghana Conference, with the 2025 event set to place young people at the centre of Ghana’s climate action agenda.
The conference, scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, will take place at the British Council in Accra under the theme “Green Generation: Empowering Youth for Climate Action.” Organisers say the focus reflects a growing recognition of the role young people must play in addressing climate change and advancing sustainable development.
According to Tribaverse, the 2025 edition represents an important step in deepening youth participation in environmental advocacy and decision-making. The organisation said the conference will serve as a platform for young voices and other stakeholders to engage meaningfully on Ghana’s most pressing environmental challenges.
The event is expected to draw participants from across the country, including climate advocates, youth leaders, policymakers, civil society groups and organisations working in sustainability and environmental protection. Discussions will centre on practical strategies for equipping young people with the skills, knowledge and opportunities needed to drive climate solutions within their communities.
Organisers indicated that the programme will feature panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking sessions aimed at inspiring and educating participants while building connections that can translate into action beyond the conference.
Tribaverse said the conference is designed not only to raise awareness but also to empower participants to initiate and support youth led climate projects that contribute to a greener and more resilient Ghana.
Registration for the event is currently open, with interested participants encouraged to sign up through the official link provided by the organisers. Tribaverse has also called on supporters to share information about the conference widely to boost participation and impact.
Since its inception, the Climate Ghana Conference has grown into a recognised annual convening for stakeholders committed to environmental sustainability. Tribaverse said it hopes the 2025 edition will further strengthen collaboration among youth, institutions and communities working towards climate resilience.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to using the conference as a catalyst for long term climate action, stressing that empowering the next generation remains central to Ghana’s response to the climate crisis.
