gyptian security forces arrested on Monday 28 illegal migrants, while they were trying to cross the borders to Israel, Egyptian security source told Xinhua.
Among the arrested there were 15 Ethiopians, eight Eritreans, three Sudanese and two Nigerians, said the security source, adding that an investigation is underway.
Earlier this month, an African migrant was killed, another was injured and six Africans were arrested while they were trying to cross the borders.
The Egyptian borders are often destinations to illegal migrants especially Africans pursuing jobs in Tel Aviv but Egypt has stepped up patrols to stop migrants in the recent years.
