The roofs of three classroom blocks of Anyinase Primary School were ripped off during a severe rainstorm that hit the town.
Textbooks, exercise books, documents and furniture belonging to the school were destroyed.
Mr Johnson Dacosta Mensah, Headmaster of the school said, trees planted as windbreaks were uprooted and this had compelled them to operate in the open.
He appealed to Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and philanthropists for assistance.
Mr Louis Bayuoh, Bibiani-Anhwiao-Bekwai District Assembly Coordinating Director appealed to contractors to use good materials for their operations for their projects to withstand natural disasters.
He appealed to the communities to ensure regular maintenance of their houses and government projects.
