At least one was killed and several others wounded on Friday as a gunman shot in an office building in Orlando, Florida, said local TV reports.
According to TV WESH, the mass shooting took place on the eighth floor in a downtown Orlando building, the Gateway Center, around noon.
All patients have been taken to hospital, and at least four of them were seriously hurt, said
the reports.
A TV reporter who was at the scene said that he witnessed as many as 15 employees came out of the building very distraught, and at least six ambulances and dozens of police cars have arrived.
Orlando Fire Department told reporters that the shooter has not been taken into custody.
The building has been ordered on lockdown as police began a floor-by-floor evacuation,said local police.
