Ms Ramatu Adamu, a teacher, who died in the last kotokuraba Market accident, in Cape Coast, was on Thursday buried at Asokyeano.
A large crowd of people, both Muslims and non-Muslims, gathered at the Ayiko-Ayiko Mosque to offer prayers for the soul of the Adamu, who left behind an eight- month old baby boy.
Many of the mourners, particularly her relatives and colleague teachers of the late Adamu, wailed uncontrollably when the body was being carried out of the Mosque to the cemetery.
An Urvan bus on Wednesday ran into pedestrians at the Kotokuraba by- pass intersection, near the Mfantsipim junction, knocking down Adamu and Ms Mavis Yawson, and injuring four others.
The two were among pedestrians walking along the street when the tragedy occurred. Adamu and Yawson died on arrival at the Central Regional Hospital.
Police inspector Evans Boatey told the GNA that the bus was being driven by Badu Smith, 43, with passengers on board from Mankessim to the market.
