Delta Airline wishes to respond to earlier media publications stating that an employee has been reportedly fired after speaking out about JFK security breach.Below is our response.Eric Amankwah is currently relieved of his duties,with pay, pending the completion of Delta’s investigation.We are aware of the allegations by Eric Amankwah, and they are under investigation by both Delta and local airport law enforcement agencies.Delta fully values employees who communicate suspected security and safety violations, and we do not retaliate against them for coming forward.
