Mr Patrick Annan, a spokesperson for Electoral Area Coordinators and Polling Station Executives at a press conference said the public should disregard an appealed made by some group to the President to select one Mr Abdela as MCE.

He said there is no group in the Municipality called ‘concern citizens of Awutu Senya East’.

Alhaji Abu Sadat, the NPP Constituency Chairman advised Party members to be calm and give the President a free mind to choose a competent, experienced, capable and respectful person for the post of MCE to advance the development of the area.
