Four new envoys to Ghana on Wednesday presented their letters of credence to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra.
They are Ambassador Mohammed Abdullah Al-Khalidi of the State of Kuwait, Ambassador Joana Tarnawska of the Republic of Poland, Ambassador Michael Wimmer of the Kingdom of Belgium, and Mr Wendell Vincent Carlton De Landro, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
They congratulated Ghana for hosting the Secretariat of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and pledged to strengthen relations with the country in the coming years.
The envoys emphasised their countries' position to fully participate in the AfCFTA project because of the economic prospects inherent in the Agreement.
They said efforts would not be spared to enhance cooperation between Ghana and their various countries for the mutual benefits of their peoples.
President Akufo-Addo, who met the envoys at separate sessions, welcomed them warmly and wished them a pleasant stay in Ghana and a successful tour of duty.
He assured them of government's support towards strengthening the ties and advancing their mutual interests.
