Members of the National Democratic Congress's TEIN Chapter of the Akatsi College of Education have congratulated Mr Edward Doe Adjaho following his elevation to the Speaker of Parliament.
This was contained in a statement signed by Richard Kitsi, Tertiary Educational Institutions Network (TEIN) President, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday.
It said Mr Adjaho's humble elevation was a reward for his unflagging attitude towards hard work and selflessness in working for mother Ghana.
"We pray and hope that you will continue to act as the father you have always been to entreat leaders and appointees of government not to turn their backs at us, the expectant grassroot supporters of the party, who never renege on our support that earned the party this deserved victory," it said.
The statement urged him to use his good office to mend the broken pieces of the party at the constituency level and help prevent any further disintegration by supporting anybody who emerges as his successor.
