Atletico Madrid appear to have beaten Arsenal to win the race to sign Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette, RMC Sport reports.
The outlet's story suggests Los Colchoneros will pay €40 million (£34m) for the 25-year-old, who has scored 31 goals this season in all competitions.
Lacazette is thought to have chosen manager Diego Simeone's Atletico side after "advanced discussions."
The Gunners are widely reported to have bid €35m last summer, but fell just short of OL's valuation and apparently will now be forced to look elsewhere in their search for a new striker.
Manchester United have prepared themselves for life after keeper David De Gea if the Spain No. 1 joins Real Madrid this summer. The Independent reports that Jan Oblak has emerged as the priority replacement.

Oblak has a €100 million release clause in his Atletico Madrid contract, though United would likely be unwilling to pay that much for the Slovenia international.
The Red Devils have also considered a move for England and Manchester City shot-stopper Joe Hart, who will return to the Etihad this summer after a season-long loan at Torino.
While Gianluigi Donnarumma and Samir Handanovic were reportedly also discussed by the United brass, Oblak is seen as the ideal candidate to make De Gea's departure as painless as possible.
Chelsea have identified young Celtic star Michael Johnston as a potential target this summer, according to the Mail. Johnson is seen as one of the brightest talents coming through at Parkhead.
With just one year remaining on his contract, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers faces a fight to persuade Johnson to stay.
Stoke and Derby have also been scouting the 18-year-old, who shone in the Scottish Youth Cup final as Celtic thrashed Rangers 3-0.
-- Napoli will raid Athletic Bilbao this summer, reports Corriere dello Sport, with the Partenopei keen to sign either Iker Muniain or Inaki Williams.
Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has built one of Europe's most attractive attacking sides, but he will look to add more options in the final third after being forced to utilise, with immense success, Dries Mertens as a centre-forward after Arek Milik's injury.
-- Crystal Palace and Newcastle will look to sign Burnley keeper Tom Heaton this summer, the Sun reports.
Heaton has enjoyed three fine seasons for the Clarets, which has earned him a place in the England squad. However, Burnley manager Sean Dyche hopes a £15m price tag and a strong bargaining position (since the 31-year-old has three years left on his contract) can put off potential suitors for his man between the posts.
-- Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha is open to a move to the Premier League. The 31-year-old from Brazil has started just nine Bundesliga matches for the club this season, but he revealed he's been the subject of offers from Prem clubs.
