The former River Plate starlet has shone for the Hammers this term after his loan move from Al Jazira was made permanent, hitting eight goals and assisting two more.
That form has brought interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal, which may push West Ham to offer the player a new deal at the end of the season despite three years remaining on his existing contract.
- Liverpool are also targeting Hull left-back Andrew Robertson and expect to announce his signing once the transfer window opens, according to the Mirror. The Tigers could also be forced to resist interest from Anfield for their centre-back Harry Maguire, with Jurgen Klopp keen to acquire the 24-year-old as he bids to revamp his defence. Newcastle could make a move for the Sheffield United youth product, while Spurs may enter the bidding, too.
- Another centre-back target for the Toon could be Wes Morgan, with the Sun reporting Rafa Benitez is keen on the Leicester captain. The 33-year-old has two more years on his Foxes deal but the newly promoted side believe they can tempt him into a move.
