Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is a loan target for Sevilla, sources close to the Spanish club have told ESPN FC.
Batshuayi's immediate future at Chelsea has been the subject of speculation during this month's transfer window with the Belgian international struggling for regular action at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old has made only two Premier League starts this season with most of his appearances coming in the cup competitions or off the bench.
Batshuayi has still managed to score seven goals in 19 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, but he is seen as back-up to Alvaro Morata by Blues boss Antonio Conte.
Chelsea are in the market for a new striker this month and the arrival of a new forward would push Batshuayi further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
The news has alerted Sevilla, who are looking to bolster their attacking options under new coach Vincenzo Montella.
Batshuayi could be interested in a move away in search of regular first-team football in the second half of the season as he looks to boost his chances of making Belgium's squad for this summer's World Cup finals.
Chelsea are open to the idea of letting Batshuayi leave on a temporary basis, but only if they can bring in another striker otherwise the former Marseille man will remain at Stamford Bridge.
