Head coach of Ghana U-20 female team, the Black Princess, Yusif Basigi has named his final 18 squad for the final hurdle of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Women’s World Cup against Cameroon. Coach Basigi’s team, departed Ghana this morning ahead of the crucial first leg encounter against Les Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon on Sunday 14th January, 2018.
The 18 list has goalkeepers Martha Annan, Gladys Amfobea and Justice Tweneboah, with Blessing Agbomazi, Philicity Asouako, Grace Acheampong, Ernestina Abambila and Helena Obeng also making the list.
The team making the final hurdle of the qualifier also have Priscilla Adubea, Grace Asantewaa, Olivia Anokye, Esther Agyeman, Cecila Hagan and Bridget Adu. Linda Amoako, Kunduck Peterson, Ruth Anima and Rafia Kulchiri Alhassan also made the final list that would be expected to topple the Cameroonians.
The Black Princesses, who are chasing their 5th consecutive Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Female Under-20 World Cup slated for France in November 2018, would play the return encounter on the 24th January, 2018 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
