Arsenal have failed in their appeal against striker Eddie Nketiah's sending-off in Tuesday's draw with Leicester City.
The Football Association have upheld a three-match ban for the 21-year-old.
Nketiah was initially booked for a challenge on defender James Justin in the Premier League match.
But it was changed to a red card after referee Chris Kavanagh consulted with the video assistant referee and viewed the incident on a pitch-side monitor.
Nketiah will miss Arsenal's next three games - at Tottenham on Sunday, before the Gunners host champions Liverpool in another Premier League match on 15 July and the face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The FA regulatory commission could have increased the punishment to up to double the standard if it had decided the appeal "had no prospect of success" or amounted to "an abuse of process".
