Black Stars forward Brandon Solomon Thomas-Asante has scored his third goal in 11 appearances for Coventry City Football Club.
Thomas-Asante scored in Coventry City’s 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Championship with the former West Bromwich Albion player’s goal rounding up the impressive result in the 84th minute.
The 25 year old London born forward lined up as the centre forward for Coventry City and got substituted in the 87th minute, three minutes after scoring Coventry’s third goal.
In 84 minutes, Thomas-Asante had two shots on target, completed six out of eight pass attempts and won two of five ground duels and this performance impressed Coventry City manager Mark Robins who commented on Thomas-Asante’s output by stating that,
“I thought it was one of the better performances of a centre forward at this club for a while. I thought he did really well and worked really hard, out of possession he was good and in possession he was good and got hold of the ball for us.”

“There’s still improvement there clearly, but it’s a good start for him.”
