Galatasaray have officially confirmed the permanent signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Serie A side Napoli for a reported fee of €75 million (approximately $85.74 million).

The Turkish Super Lig champions announced the record-breaking deal on Thursday, July 31, making Osimhen the most expensive incoming transfer in the history of Turkish football.

Osimhen’s transfer shatters the previous record set by Fenerbahçe, who signed Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla for €20 million in July 2024 on a five-year contract.

As part of the agreement, SSC Napoli will receive 10% of any future profit from Osimhen’s next transfer, Galatasaray confirmed.

An official club statement outlined the contract terms as follows:

“Regarding the transfer of professional footballer Victor James Osimhen, an agreement has been reached with his club, SSCN Napoli SPA.

“In this context, a net transfer fee of 75,000,000 EUR will be paid to the player’s former club.

“Additionally, under the terms of the agreement, 10% of the profit from the player’s next sale will be paid to SSCN Napoli SPA.

“A 4-year contract has been signed with the player, effective from the 2025-2026 season.

“According to the agreement, the player will receive a net guaranteed fee of 15,000,000 EUR per season, a net loyalty bonus of 1,000,000 EUR, and an image rights fee of 5,000,000 EUR.

“This is respectfully announced to the public.”
