Amber Anning competes in the 400m final, Daryll Neita, Amy Hunt and Dina Asher-Smith are in action in the women's 200m semi-finals, and Jemma Reekie is a third British hopeful in the women's 800m.
Ben Pattison and Max Burgin will go in the semi-finals of the men's 800m, and Melissa Courtney-Bryant, Hannah Nuttall and Innes FitzGerald are in the women's 5,000m heats.
Meanwhile, Morgan Lake starts her championships in the women's high jump qualification.
