An independent parliamentary candidate for Nkawkaw, Mr Seth Adjei-Baah, has called on the electorates in the area to vote for him to effect the change needed to improve their living standards.
He said he entered the race not for his personal gains, but rather to seek the welfare of the ordinary person in the constituency.
Mr Adjei-Baah, who is also the Managing Director of Shaaba Enterprise Limited, a group of companies, made the appeal when he addressed supporters at separate rallies at Accra Town, Nkawkaw-Kuma, Nsuta, Domeabra and New Town as part of his campaign tour to some communities in the Kwahu West Municipality.
He promised to rehabilitate all the eight public places of convenience in the Nkawkaw Township alleging that they were mismanaged by some officials of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Adjei-Baah said he would run an open-policy
administration where he would disclose his share of the MP's Common Fund to the people and discuss with them the needed projects to be undertaken.
He said he would provide health equipment to health facilities in the municipality to improve the health needs of the people and also construct educational facilities.
The independent candidate said he would alleviate poverty among the people with the construction of cottage industries to process primary products such as citrus, pineapple, oil palm and cassava which would also create employment to the youth.
