The United Cadres Front (UCF) has congratulated President John Mahama on his election as President of the Republic of Ghana.
A statement issued and copied to the GNA by Mr Dela Ekue, Acting National Coordinator, UCF, said: "Your re-sounding victory in the Presidential elections demonstrates the confidence reposed in your able leadership."
"Rest assured that we, the UCF will remain loyal, faithful and solidly behind you at all times,” it said.
The statement also used the opportunity to urge the New Patriotic Party to consider Ghana first in all their dealings.
It cautioned such unpatriotic citizens in the NPP to desist from their negative ploy and wear their 'thinking caps properly'.
It called on Ghanaians, religious leaders, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, Christian based organisation, the National Peace Council and other stakeholders to counsel Nana Akuffo Addo, the defeated candidate.
