Ecobank Ghana, a member of the Ecobank Group, has launched a fully integrated advertising campaign, designed to promote a new brand positioning across its African branches.
The campaign, which was launched in Lome in December 2012, aims at placing Ecobank as a pan-African bank capable of creating positive change right across the continent for individuals and businesses.
Dubbed: 'The future is pan-African," the 60-second television commercial is to be progressively rolled out across the countries in Africa where Ecobank has a retail presence.
The campaign will also include the use of radio, print, digital and outdoor media as well as social media campaigns.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr Samuel Ashitey Adjei, Managing Director Ecobank Ghana said with its presence in 33 African countries, "Ecobank is the one bank capable of creating the necessary change in Africa that will empower its people and business enterprises to unlock the full value that Africa holds".
He said the campaign demonstrated how the bank would leverage its reach across Africa and its local knowledge of the African people to create a better future for the continent.
"As a group, we are fully focused on maximising our potential across our sub-Saharan footprint, with customer satisfaction seen as a top priority," he said, adding that the new campaign highlighted the advantages that retail and corporate customers can derive from the one bank approach.

Central to the campaign are a celebration of Ecobank’s success in building a pan-African platform, both in terms of scale and reach.
By aligning products and services to customer aspirations, Ecobank is becoming more relevant to their daily needs as it seek to centralise operations across Africa.
