The Egyptian e-commerce empowerment platform brings its innovative model to North Africa
After establishing strong operations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Taager officially announces its launch in Morocco. This marks a major milestone in the startup's mission to democratize access to e-commerce across the MENA region.
An e-commerce platform that empowers the next generation of online sellers
Founded in 2019 by Mohammed Elhorishy, Ismail Omar, Abdelrahman Sherief and Ahmed Ismail, Taager has rapidly grown into the go-to platform for thousands of micro-entrepreneurs, digital marketers and content creators looking to start an online business with no upfront capital, no inventory, and no operational complexity.
Taager provides a fully integrated model covering product sourcing, inventory management, logistics, delivery and payment transfer — allowing anyone to start selling online with zero barriers in the MENA countries.
Since its inception, the platform has empowered over 65,000 independent sellers, from digital marketers seeking extra income to influencers monetizing their audiences and entrepreneurs expanding their online reach.
Each seller receives instant access to 5,000+ curated high-demand products, supported by Taager's end-to-end operational infrastructure.
Morocco: a strategic market with high e-commerce potential
The decision to expand into Morocco reflects Taager's ambition to accelerate growth in promising digital economies across the region.
"We see Morocco as one of the most dynamic and exciting e-commerce markets in North Africa, with a young, connected population and a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
Our goal is to deliver an inclusive e-commerce empowerment platform that enables anyone to start and scale an online business." says Abdelrahman Sherief, co-founder of Taager.
With its launch in Morocco, Taager is strengthening its regional footprint, reaffirming its long-term objective: becoming the leading ecommerce empowerment platform for online sellers in the Arab world, and supporting economic autonomy for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Taager Morocco to be led by Salma Ammor
The Moroccan operations will be headed by Salma Ammor, an experienced leader who has overseen multiple large-scale digital launches across Africa and the MENA region.
"Our mission is straightforward: to give every Moroccan - regardless of their starting point - the opportunity to build and grow an online business. We aim to offer a reliable, inclusive and high-performance launchpad for a new generation of Moroccan e-commerce entrepreneurs. Taager will not have local operations in Morocco for now; our presence will be focused on staying close to our community of Moroccan sellers, while operational activities are managed in countries Taager is currently active in within the MENA region'' explains Salma Ammor, Country Manager Morocco of Taager.
To support its growth in the Kingdom, Taager is now actively hiring for key roles including media buyers, account managers and telesales specialists.
