MTN Ghana Limited has launched the second edition of its mega promotion dubbed: "Dream Big 'Xtreme' Promotion" in Accra on Friday.
For the next 100 days MTN customers have the chance of winning fantastic prizes daily and monthly with a final jackpot of GH¢150,000, by texting WIN to MTN short code 2020 and responding to trivia questions to accumulate points.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency by Mrs Cynthia Lumor, Corporate Services Executive of MTN said the promotion was a three monthly draws during the 100-day promotion.
It said the player with the highest number of points accumulated during the month would drive home a luxury Jaguar –XF 3.0 car worth GH¢100,000.
"The ultimate winner at the end of the promotion will receive a sum of GH¢ 150,000.
The statement noted that every day, the player with the highest number of points and one randomly selected player would receive cash prizes worth GH¢5,000 each.
It said two Android devices worth GH¢ 500 each would also be won by two other lucky winners every day with other daily consolation prizes include MTN airtime and other products.
Mr. Richard Acheampong, the Acting Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, said, "this promotion is being launched at this time of the year to enable our subscribers win fantastic prizes to usher them into the New Year."
He said the company had realized that the first edition of the ”Dream Big promotion” positively impacted on the lives of customers and there was the need to create the reloaded edition to offer the same opportunities for more subscribers.
"At MTN, we believe in enriching lives in innovative ways," he said.
He said selection of winners would be done under the supervision of the Gaming Commission of Ghana.
Subscribers can also call 2020 and listen to the Interactive Voice Response in English, Twi, Ga, Ewe, Hausa and Dagbani.
MTN Ghana wishes to alert customers to be mindful of possible scams during the period of the promotion.
Mr Acheampong said customers should note that winners of daily prizes would be published in the newspapers and on MTN's website while winners would also be contacted via MTN's official line 0244300000.
