The former Miss Universe Ghana 2014 beat off competition from 20 other contestants to win the International beauty pageant.        

The contestants were judged based on their parade in traditional costumes, swimwear and gala, and also how well they sang and danced.

A judge referred to Abena as the “spectacular beauty with big blue eyes and with an elegance that made her deserving of this title.”

Abena who became an X factor finalist in 2012 has participated in international modelling competitions such as Top Model Ghana 2013 and Top Model of the World 2013 where she emerged top 15 out of 60 countries respectively.

She has modelled for most of the top name designers from around the world such as crèmè de la crèmè from the United States, Andres Aquino from Spain, Sushma Patel from India, Catalan from France and   late Kofi Ansah from Ghana.

The runway diva has done fashion shows with Contour Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Vlisco, Woodin, Da Viva and GTP.
