It’s over for Diddy and Cassie.
After being together for the better part of a decade, the couple confirmed they have called it quits. “They are indeed no longer together and haven’t been for months,” Cassie Ventura’s publicist said in a statement to LoveBScott.com. A source tells People there is no drama and that “the decision was amicable and they remain friends.”
Representatives for the pair did not immediately respond to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment.
It’s unclear when exactly the business mogul and hip-hop artist, 48, and the singer-actress, 32, ended their relationship. Cassie unfollowed all but one account on Instagram — and it’s not Diddy’s — while he follows her on social media. Both still have photos of each other up on their Instagram page.
They were still very much an item in May, attending the Met Gala and walking the red carpet together.
Diddy has apparently already moved on. The “Bad Boys for Life” rapper was reportedly spotted with 26-year-old model Jocelyn Chew in Miami last month and again Friday at Drake’s concert in Los Angeles.
Cassie and Diddy, who were notoriously private about their relationship, met after he heard her 2006 hit “Me & U.” Cassie ended up signing with Diddy’s label, Bad Boy Records, and the two ultimately mixed business with pleasure.
“He always gives great advice,” she said in a 2012 interview. That same year, they confirmed their long-rumored relationship. In 2014, engagement rumors swirled but were never confirmed.
However, the couple were reportedly on and off around 2015. They ultimately reconciled, and during an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show in 2017, Diddy declared he was “in love now.”
