French Montana has officially put a ring on it — and it’s one that has Instagram buzzing.
The rapper (real name Karim Kharbouch) is now engaged to Dubai royal Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, and the pair unveiled her jaw-dropping engagement ring on August 29. The sparkler features a massive emerald-cut diamond framed by a halo of smaller stones that also extend into the band. Mahra showed off the new bling on her hand alongside Montana's hand in a post captioned with a simple white heart and sparkle emoji — letting the gem do all the talking.
The ring is a custom design by Eric The Jeweler of Mavani & Co. Its centerpiece is an emerald-cut 11.53-carat diamond, with an estimated value of $1.1 million, according to details obtained by People.
The couple’s rep confirmed to TMZ that Montana popped the question during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after he walked the runway for the 3.Paradis Spring/Summer 2026 show. The duo was first linked in October 2024, when Sheikha Mahra gave the “Unforgettable” rapper a tour of Dubai. They confirmed their romance months later after stepping out hand in hand in Paris.
Montana’s royal-sized rock is the latest to set social media alight in a summer packed with celebrity engagement ring reveals.
Taylor Swift’s vintage-inspired old mine cut diamond ring from Travis Kelce and Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée Georgina Rodríguez’s boulder-sized sparkler have recently dominated headlines — and now Montana and Mahra’s ring joins the mega-rock club to buzz about.
With its dazzling size and regal provenance, it's one of the most extravagant rings of the year.
