Ghanaian-owned Crux Global Agency has emerged as one of the major driving forces behind the entertainment and in-arena production experience at the sixth season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), a subsidiary of the National Basketball Association.

As the official Entertainment and Arena Activation Partner for the tournament, Crux Global Agency has been at the forefront of curating thrilling entertainment experiences across the competition in Africa, blending sports, music and culture into a vibrant spectacle for fans.

The agency has overseen artist bookings, DJs, cheerleaders, live performances, audience engagement activities and arena activations that have transformed the BAL experience beyond the game of basketball.

Leading the project for Crux Global Agency are Chief Executive Officer Kofi Kyei, Chief Operating Officer Ike Otoo Arhin and Brands and Partnerships lead Van Erasmus Akoto, whose efforts continue to position African entertainment prominently on one of the continent’s biggest sporting stages.

During the South African leg of the tournament, the agency delivered a star-studded entertainment lineup featuring acts such as Scotts Maphuma, Kamo Mphela, Nasty C, Usimamane and Smallgod.

The momentum continued in Morocco, where Crux Global Agency assembled another strong entertainment roster featuring talents including El Grande Toto, H-Kayne, Draganov, Hind Ennaira, Gustavo, Najm and Rym.Their performances contributed to the fusion of sports and entertainment that has become synonymous with the BAL experience.

Following successful editions in South Africa and Morocco, the spotlight now turns to Rwanda, where the BAL Finals will take place from May 22 to May 31, 2026.

Crux Global Agency is expected to once again spearhead the entertainment production for the finals, which promises to be the tournament’s biggest stage yet.

Through its involvement with the BAL, the agency continues to champion African creativity and provide opportunities for African musicians, entertainers and young creatives to showcase their talents on a global platform.
