Ghanaian Dancehall,  Reggae and Afrobeat artiste Dosted Gennah is steadily making a name for himself beyond Ghana's borders, proving that independent artistes can compete on the global stage through consistency and hard work.

Since making his official debut in 2020, the independent  musician has built an impressive catalogue without the backing of a major record label, earning recognition for his unique sound and determination while expanding his fan base at home and abroad.

One of the highlights of his career has been his growing list of international collaborations with respected Caribbean artistes.

In Jamaica, he teamed up with dancehall acts 10Tik on Wild N Mean and Shane O on the remix of Pill Fi Mi Pain.

He also strengthened his Caribbean ties by collaborating with Trinidad and Tobago's Rheon Elbourne on Fall and Rise (Remix) as well as Zebee on Hot Pressure, which also featured Ghanaian rapper Medikal.

On the local front, Dosted Gennah has shared the microphone with some of Ghana's biggest names, including Shatta Wale, Medikal, J Derobie, Jupitar, Larruso, Captan and Alkaboss.

He also featured on Shatta Wale's Accra Invasion Project, a milestone that further boosted his profile within Ghana's  music industry.

His music has not only earned collaborations but also attracted recognition from internationally acclaimed Jamaican stars Masicka and Popcaan, reflecting the growing appeal of his music within the Caribbean dancehall community.

Adding to his growing achievements, Dosted Gennah recently released his third extended play (EP), Out of the Broken City.

The six-track project features collaborations with Medikal, J Derobie, Jupitar, Shane O and Zebee, while blending Dancehall, Reggae and Afrobeat influences.

The EP has continued to gain traction on major digital streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack and Boomplay, reaching audiences across different markets.

Beyond the studio, Dosted Gennah has built a reputation as an energetic performer, having graced stages at major events such as Shatta Fest, Ghana Party in the Park in the United Kingdom, the BYK Concert and several music festivals across Ghana.

Although he maintains a relatively low profile on social media, the artiste continues to rely on his music to connect with audiences.

With a growing catalogue, international collaborations and increasing recognition beyond Ghana, Dosted Gennah believes his journey demonstrates that independent musicians can break barriers through consistency, resilience and belief in their craft.
