The Reverend Steve Painstil, Senior Pastor of the Calvary Charismatic Baptist Church (CCBC) at Gyinyase in Kumasi, has urged his colleague Ministers of the Gospel to reach out to the people, with the true teachings of Christ.
He said they should have the courage of conviction to preach against the rot in society and turn people away from evil.
"Do not teach anything than the word of God to change lives", the Rev Painstil said at a send-off church service for the Rev George Owusu-Mensah, an associate pastor of the Amakom Grace Baptist Church in Kumasi.
He is on transfer to head the Bantama Saint James Baptist Church. The Rev Painstil said society must see a difference between those, who
have had genuine calling from God and the charlatans, out there to take advantage of some people's fear of insecurity.
He reminded Christians to live by the values of their religious faith, showing love and living in total peace and harmony with those who do not
share their belief.
Rev Owusu-Mensah thanked the congregation for their support and asked for continued prayers.
A Senior Pastor of the Church, Rev Dr Kojo Osei-Wusuh, called on all Christians to intensify their evangelization to bring salvation and make the world a better place.
