A farmer who allegedly defiled a 15-year-old girl and impregnated her, has been remanded in prison custody by the Akim Swedru Circuit Court.
Kwame Eshun who denied defiling the girl would reappear on July 26.
Police Inspector Kwaku Appiah, told the court presided over by Mr Kofi Akrowiah, that Mr Samuel Oppong, the complainant detected that three months ago that her daughter was pregnant.
He said when he questioned his daughter, she mentioned Eshun as being responsible and therefore made a report to the Police.
He said when the Police initially confronted the accused he admitted defiling the girl but later denied the offence.
