Rebecca Aboagyewaa, a 23-year-old trader, on Tuesday appeared before the Asamankese District Magistrate Court for threatening to kill a policewoman, who is a co-tenant, and her baby over electricity bill.
She pleaded not guilty and was granted a GHC 300 bail with one surety to re-appear on August 16.
Police Detective Inspector F. K. Borkor, prosecuting, told the court Awuah that Police Lance Corporal Esther Osei and the accused lived in the same house at Asamankese.
He said on June 30 a misunderstanding arose between the two women over payment of electricity bill when the complainant blamed the accused for
underpaying the points she was using.
The accused then became offended and threatened to kill the complainant and her newly-born baby with words like "I will kill you and your baby, I mean it".
