The Head Pastor of the Creators Blessing Church
at Abeka in Accra, Prophet Philip Akuffo Addo, has advised young Christians to remain committed to the word of God in the face of hardship.
He said the only source of wealth and happiness for Christians was through truth, submissiveness and love.
Prophet Akuffo Addo, therefore, urged Christians to persist in pursuing their ambitions, which would produce success irrespective of their backgrounds adding that they ought to be submissive at all times to avoid
any temptation.
He said this at the 22nd anniversary celebration of the Church at the weekend in Accra.
Pastor Akuffo Addo expressed regret at the youths involvement in activities such as Internet fraud, armed robberies, drug abuses and deviant acts instead of preparing themselves to be useful citizens for the nation.
He attributed some of these attitudes destroying the nation to gradual breakdown of the rich cultural and religious norms of the people and urged pastors and Christians to pray fervently against the menace irrespective of
diverse denomination and ministry.
Pastor Akuffo Addo asked the youth to avoid such social vices and focus on their future plans and the word of God as well as to prepare to serve
mankind; as servitude remained the only means they could obtain knowledge.
He also advised the youth to learn to respect authorities in society and called on chiefs, political, and religious leaders to mount a crusade against immorality and indiscipline in the country.
