India and Kuwait have signed a document to move forward a process set in motion by a joint working group on Labour, Employment and Manpower Development, Indian embassy in Kuwait has said.
Indian Ambassador in Kuwait Ajai Malhotra and Kuwait's Under Secretary, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, Mohammed Al-Kandari,
signed a document to move forward the process started by the Second Meeting of the Joint Working
Group, that was held in Kuwait in January this year.
The working group aims to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in employment and manpower development by regulating recruitment in a legal and orderly way.
Issues that were discussed address the entire range of concerns of Indian domestic sector and private sector workers in Kuwait, the embassy statement said.
The next Meeting of the Joint Working Group is proposed to be held in November 2010 in New Delhi.
