The Akropong-Akuapem District Assembly has completed the construction of pavilions and classrooms for second-cycle and basic schools to enhance education in the area.
Mr George Opare Addo, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Akuapem North, who made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at
Akropong-Akuapem said the gesture would help improve teaching and learning.
They were seven pavilions in senior high schools and 12 classrooms for the basic schools in addition to the sinking of 20 boreholes in a number of communities.
On roads, the DCE said the five-kilometre Okra Kwadjo to Dobro and the three-kilometre Nkyenoa to Kyerepaulikorpe roads have been rehabilitated while the first phase of a 12-kilometre road from Aprede to Somanya has been
completed.
