The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency says it has found a second drug-smuggling tunnel that stretches from Tijuana, Mexico, to San Diego.
An entrance to the half-mile-long tunnel was discovered Thursday morning in a warehouse in the Otay Mesa area of San Diego and it is close to a similar tunnel federal agents found earlier this month, CNN reported.
Several arrests were made and some marijuana was confiscated in the latest discovery, said Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for the customs agency.
Agents seized about 30 tons of marijuana when the first tunnel was discovered.
