Mrs Margaret Doku-Ampomah, out-going assembly member at Akim Osino in the Fanteakwa District, on Wednesday challenged in-coming assembly members to tackle the problem of sanitation with all seriousness.
She noted that since a clean environment promoted good health, there was the need for all to ensure that the environment was rid of filth at all times.
Mrs Doku-Ampomah gave the advice when Madam Ernestina Darko, a newly elected assembly member, paid a courtesy call on her at Akim Osino.
She advised Madam Darko to mobilize the people frequently to undertake communal labour in the community to de-silt the gutters and sweep the market with the assistance of Zoomlion workers.
